This study is conducted by the West University of Timișoara (UVT) in partnership with Marsh and focuses on evaluating the readiness of organizations in the Western region of Romania regarding the new European requirements on pay transparency. The initiative aims to analyze how companies are adjusting their remuneration policies, job classification systems, and mechanisms for reporting gender pay gaps. The research focuses on identifying practical barriers and the risks involved in justifying pay discrepancies, while also investigating the firms' capacity to communicate these changes internally. Ultimately, this initiative provides a clear overview of the business environment, supporting alignment with the equity standards mandated by Directive (EU) 2023/970.
